Personally, I'm happy to wait until 17:30 GMT. Last time I got impatient I downloaded the patch early and then it borked my system, and many others, 'til they released a corrected one.

Re GPFS and anyone else who has a mac client where the download is broken shortly after it was released..
we currently have a thread open where CCP are looking into this issue.
